[hylafax-users] R: Problem to send fax!!

Hi Guido,

yes i pasted my config.faxCapi.

My cpi.conf is:

If I type #capiinfo, I see:

AFAIK capi.conf should read for a C4 Controller like this:

#c4 c4.bin DSS1 - - - -

#c4 - DSS1 - - - -

#c4 - DSS1 - - - - P2P

#c4 c4.bin DSS1 - - - - P2P

What you pasted in your mail is the content of /var/spool/hylafax/etc/config.faxCAPI ?!

What does capiinfo say? It should give you something like this (Output of an AVM Fritz Card here):

Maybe, I'm wrong, but the above works for us.

Hope this helps a little bit in the fight with/against hylafax ;-)

Hi all,

i have a problem with my AVM C4 ISDN Board (into my server i’ve installed Linux RedHat 8.0); It don’t send fax.

I’ve change a telephone number into my capi.conf (listen below) and when I try to send a fax it print to sceen this error message:

[…]#c2faxsend -f TIFF -d 00657xxxxxx -v /var/www/html/fax/inbox/cff0000424.tif

Try to connect to fax number 00657xxxxxx in TIFF mode on controller 1.

Dial and starting transfer of TIFF-File /var/www/html/fax/inbox/cff0000424.tif with fine resolution.

Connection dropped with Reason 0x3301 (Protocol error layer 1 (broken line or B-channel removed by signalling protocol)).
