[hylafax-users] modem does not generate receive signal

Hello,

 Hylafax 4.2.1. Debian 3.1. Modem CPV Stollwerk Pico T 14.4 :)
 
 When I call from stationery fax to the HylaFax to check it I hear one
 negotiation  signal and then silence. When I press the "Start" button
 to  transmit  the  page  I  get  the  "no  response"  message  on the
 stationery  fax.  But  when  I  transmit  the  page  without  waiting
 everything is ok.

 When  I  call my stationery fax machine I hear that it gives multiple
 negotiation signals. So I can press "Start" any time I want. What can
 be the reason of such behaviour of my faxmodem?
