[hylafax-users] Modem does not answer on incoming fax

Dear Group,

I installed hylafax and everything seems to be ok, i can send faxes without any problem (finally),
but when i try to receive the fax the modem does not answer.

I allready put a line in my /etc/inittab file like:

m0:2345:respawn:/usr/local/sbin/faxgetty ttyS0

then I've done a telinit q, and later rebooted the linuxbox.

I have two lines so I'm using a normal fax machine that call the other number that I have my 
halyfax box running: I can tell the line is working but the modem does not answer the phone.

Do I have to enter the modem and change the modem config with AT commands?
If yes, how can I do that?
