Giulio, thanks for your response.
I have tried as you suggested, and it prints okay, all pages, except the output is in landscape instead of portrait.
I forgot to include that I have tried with libtiff 7.1 and 7.2, with the same results.
I can reprint the complete PDF verison to the same printer without any problems either.

You should re-execute by hand the above command using the tif file as
received and see if you get some warning/errors.
