Re: [hylafax-users] hylafax loses modems



Thank you all for the answers, it hasn't helped very much thusfar however, a colleague of mine will look at the logs soon, for that I'm not experienced enough myself.

Some additional hints:
1. We do not use faxgetty (we only send faxes)
2. We use the linuxant driver for our modems (mainly because we haven't found any other usb modem that actually works with Hylafax)
3. When using "ps" this is what is run by Hylafax :
8869 ? S 0:00 faxsend -m ttySHSF2 sendq/q10954
When looking at faxstat -s it doesn't say anything about ttySHSF2 being used, after some time (sometimes it takes minutes for this to occur) Hylafax reports it is going to resend the job.
4. I now notice two instances of faxq running. I do not know if this is related and I've not seen it before.


We're at a loss and really do not understand what is going wrong here.
