notify and faxrcvd are the files to edit. What string didn't you find?

An advice, do not edit those file directly, instead do this:
1)
# cp notify notify.custom
# cp faxrcvd faxrcvd.custom
2)
edit etc/config.<devid> adding
NotifyCmd:           bin/notify.custom
FaxRcvdCmd:      bin/faxrcvd.custom
3) edit the *.custom files

This way HylaFAX upgrades will be simpler.
