Re: [hylafax-users] modem appears wedged a lot in 4.2.1 than in 4 .1.8

Session logs are in /var/spool/hylafax/log and server logs are generally in /var/log/messages.

You may need SessionTracing and ServerTracing in your modem config to both be 0xFFF for them to be of any use.

That's great. Where are they located ?

Thanks,

P.S.

I run 2 hylafax(4.2.1) servers
One with two U.S.Robotics USR5660A modems
the other with Hayes Accura V.92 PCI modems
Both use driver from Linant hsfmodem-6.03.00lnxt04011900full_k2.4.20_8-1rh
(note: newer driver like 7.xx causes system hangs all the time. With 6.03, a
system hangs from time to time)
I notice that failed fax rate is higher with U.S.Robotics modem than Hayes.

A log (session or server) of the wedging would help us help you.
