Re: [hylafax-users] No carrier detected

Thanks for responding, Lee and Giulio.

My config.ttyS1 file did not have "ModemDialCmd" and "ModemWaitTimeCmd" commands. So, I have added these two lines and restarted hylafax. Still no success! Sigh! :(

This makes me believe that the problem might not be with the number of rings. Am I barking at the wrong tree here?

I have a MultiTech MT5634ZBA-V.92 Serial Fax Modem, which is awesome :). It has v.34 fax capability. I have configured it as Class 1.0. It faxes at almost 4.4 pages on average to fax machines which are 33.6Kbps.

Destination fax machine is a "Brother Intellifax 4100" machine connected to a dedicated fax line.

Thanks
Joe.

I am pasting my config.ttyS1 file.
