Re: [hylafax-users] faxgetty doesn't answer

On modem initialization, I see two error messages, could this be causing the modem to die?

Mar  3 09:08:31 fax FaxGetty[7592]: <-- [9:AT+FAP=?\r]
Mar  3 09:08:31 fax FaxGetty[7592]: --> [5:ERROR]

and

Mar  3 09:08:31 fax FaxGetty[7592]: <-- [10:AT+FREL=1\r]
Mar  3 09:08:31 fax FaxGetty[7592]: --> [5:ERROR]

I found http://www.hylafax.org/FAQ/Q352.html so I assume that the +FAP is not an issue and on the FREL I see this on probemodem

AT+FREL=?       RESULT = "OK"   RESPONSE = "0"
AT+FREL?        RESULT = "OK"   RESPONSE = "0"

the complete log for modem initialization follows

Thanks for all the help

Héctor

Hello all....

After 24 hours of running with out touching it, modem it's still ok, and presents no problems, so I'm assuming that there is no linux issue with it, and the issue is due to faxgetty I will put it to run again faxgetty and keep an eye on it for a while to see what happens

Héctor
