Are you sure that it's counting "No carrier detected" as an error? I'm
pretty sure that xferfaxstats doesn't.
In any case, you may actually want to investigate "NO CARRIER" errors
if it happens frequently enough to the same destination. Sometimes the
fault is due to the modem not detecting the carrier as it should. In
those cases you have to turn to the manufacturer for support.
