For the first question, check out man sendfax. There are a lot of options for manipulating the faxcover. You can also disable the cover alltogether.

 
For the second question: you will need a program that converts your original file to postscript. For pdf, that would be pdf2ps or pdftops (the latter being a little bit better). There's a description on how to do that here: http://www.hylafax.org/archive/2004-10/msg00003.html

1ª, When i send a fax, with sendfax -d xxx file, where xxx es fax number, goout with 2 pages, A paga is de cover. ¿Where i cam modify the cover?

 
2ª How i can send file type .doc or other types, that is not be .tif or type pdf?
