[hylafax-users] confirmation email attachment problem - NEWBIE!

Hello,

I am running Red Hat 9 and Hylafax 2.1.8. I am trying
to add the fax to the email confirmations the user
receives. I read many newsgroup posts on the subject
but the problem remains. Since I am new to linux I
would really appreciate a step-by-step explanation!
Thanks!!!

I know I need to use etc/FaxDispatch, and this is what
I have in it:

FILETYPE=tif;
SENDTO=joey@xxxxxxxxxxx;

Since I didn?t receive the attachment in the email:

Your facsimile job to 8528144 was completed
successfully.

         Pages: 1
       Quality: Normal
    Page Width: 194 (mm)
   Page Length: 281 (mm)
   Signal Rate: 9600 bit/s
   Data Format: 2-D MR
         Calls: 2 (total phone calls placed)
Submitted From: 192.68.135.79
         JobID: 304
       GroupID: 304
        CommID: c00004668

Processing time was 1:03.

I tried adding this line

MIMENCODE=bin/uuencode_it;

to FaxDispatch, and changing FILETYPE to ps, and this
to bin/uuencode_it:

#!/bin/sh
uuencode -m $1 $1 | grep -E -v "^begin|^====$"
2>/dev/null

but still I receive the same message with no
attachment.

I also tried adding this to etc/config.ttyS0:

FaxRcvdCmd: bin/faxrcvd

But to no avail. After each change I restarted the
service.

It doesn?t matter to me what the type of the
attachment is (I prefer PDF) as long as I get it in
the email.
