Re: [hylafax-users] Received Fax Unreadable

Thanks... I used an RPM for Redhat that upgraded my version to 3.6.1-7 and it is working now. I found the rpm at:
http://fr2.rpmfind.net//linux/RPM/fedora/development/i386/libtiff-3.6.1-7.i386.html

I use versions 3.5.7 and 3.6.1+patch (found on HylaFAX Bugzilla #500).

Can you recommend the best version of libtiff to use? I tried installing 3.7.0 and there seem to be a number of new problems that I did not have before. In addition, some of the tif files are still just a bunch of horizontal or vertical lines. Michael

It's version 3.6.1

If you're still unsure why libtiff 3.6.1 would be giving you problems, just do a Google about "libtiff 3.6.1" and "fax".
