We do this now.  we do it in the faxrcvd script.  For us , it is done on
the DID number.  We lookup the DID number in a file to see how we should
process the fax.  How long to keep it, how often to try to deliver it
and were to deliver it (what fax number).  Then we submit it back to
hylafax with a sendfax command.  If you can modify faxrcvd, it is pretty
straight forward.  Email me direct if you want some of my code.
