Re: [hylafax-users] High-speed data carrier error

Hello,
I have setup HylaFax Server ver. 4.20 (final) and it works great for
inbound and outbound traffic. But few faxes (from particular
numbers) could not be received correctly (even after retransmission).
I received following error:
Sep 03 11:53:16.49: [ 106]: TRAINING succeeded
Sep 03 11:53:16.49: [ 106]: <-- [9:AT+FTH=3\r]
Sep 03 11:53:16.53: [ 106]: --> [7:CONNECT]
Sep 03 11:53:17.85: [ 106]: --> [2:OK]
Sep 03 11:53:17.85: [ 106]: <-- [11:AT+FRM=146\r]
Sep 03 11:53:24.96: [ 106]: --> [2:OK]
What is a reason of this error and how can I solve it? Should I set
some option in my modem config file?
I use Pentagram Diablo56X external modems based on Conexant chip.
There's a modem firmware problem of some kind, most likely. See the
"OK" response to AT+FRM=146 ? That shouldn't happen. It should
respond CONNECT, +FCERROR, or ERROR. "OK" in this instance indicates
an unexpected response, and we don't know how to proceed from there.
Contact Pentagram for a fix (may the force be with you, er, good luck).
Lee.
