All,

This is a box running SuSE 9.0 with 6 USR 56k fax/modems on it.  I have written a script so that each time a fax is received it pipes faxcover into sendfax to send a 1 page fax back to the original sender to confirm the receipt of the fax.  On this particular box the only port that can send out a fax is ttyS0 all the rest get No carrier detected.  I have tried with the @ and without neither work.  Here is an excerpt from the log file.

"Jul 16 08:22:19.58: [30109]: --> return result ""15129281825"""

Jul 16 08:22:19.58: [30109]: <-- [12:AT+FCLASS=1\r]

Jul 16 08:22:19.82: [30109]: --> [2:OK]

"Jul 16 08:22:19.82: [30109]: MODEM set XON/XOFF/FLUSH: input ignored, output disabled"

Jul 16 08:22:19.92: [30109]: DIAL 15129281825

Jul 16 08:22:19.92: [30109]: <-- [16:ATDT15129281825\r]

Jul 16 08:23:17.84: [30109]: --> [10:NO CARRIER]

Jul 16 08:23:17.84: [30109]: SEND FAILED: JOB 60 DEST 5129281825 ERR No carrier detected

Thanks in advance for any help.

Brent
