[hylafax-users] HylaFax-4.1.8 vs hylafax-4.2.0beta1

I'm testing hylafax-4.2.0beta1. I compiled and installed the beta version on
Red Hat 9.0. On a separate server I have hylafax-4.1.8 that I installed from
rpm. This server is also running Red Hat 9.0.
I compiled hylafax-4.2.0beta1 without any error
./configure
make
make install.
That's it.

I couldn't get hfaxd to start with '-i hylafax' option.
When I check process status I get the following:

[hylafax-4.2.0beta1] ps ax | grep fax
956 ? S 0:00 [faxgetty]
957 ? S 0:00 [faxgetty]
2876 ? S 0:00 [faxq]
2878 ? S 0:00 [hfaxd]
16619 pts/0 S 0:00 grep fax

[hylafax-4.1.8] ps ax | grep fax
16546 ? S 0:00 faxq
16550 ? S 0:00 hfaxd -i hylafax
16558 ? S 0:00 /usr/sbin/faxgetty Outgoing
16559 ? S 0:00 /usr/sbin/faxgetty bapp
16560 ? S 0:00 /usr/sbin/faxgetty ekurmain
16565 ? S 0:00 /usr/sbin/faxgetty Incoming
23340 pts/0 S 0:00 grep fax

inittab entries for server running hylafax-4.1.8
m1:2345:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty Incoming
m2:2345:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty Outgoing
m3:2345:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty bapp
m4:2345:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty ekurmain

inittab entries for server running hylafax-4.2.0beta1
m1:2345:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty usrpcimodem
m2:2345:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty usrExtmodem

Why do I see a difference in running processes b/w the two versions?

Thanks in advance
Yidnek
