I've seen a p2 350 - 128mb ram with 1 modem as a HylaFAX server that will handle that no trouble at all.   The best way to find out about it is to just install it, configure it and test it.
 
Clients can be setup in various ways, most common are a fax printer and email to fax gateway

i work in a company which sends and recieves around 200 faxes daily. if i want to install a hylaFAX what should be hardware configuration of the server and which is the preffered version of the redhat release. will it work on enterprise ES version 3.0. can the clients communicate with their  ordinary modem.
please do help me, as i am a newbie
