[hylafax-users] Internet PORT number/s for Hylafax behind a firewall.

I am tring to find out what port number/s that Hylafax require to be open on the firewall so I can send fax's through the server across the internet.

I have found a couple of email's that relate to ports 444 and 4559 but I have tried them and they did not work :( so there must be more or it must be required a different way.

I also know it use's a modified FTP and seems to releate to the client software to work out which ports are to be opened up.

The 2 peices of software I am tring to use are
http://www.cypheus.de/ and http://winprinthylafax.sourceforge.net/

both of which work correctly inside the network were there is no firewall but open both of those above ports for inbound for TCP and UDP does not solve the challange.

There must be somewere or someone must know a way to get hylafax to use a smaller set number of ports that can be opened for inbound and outbound to and from the hylafax server.

Currently using Hylafax 4.1.8 but I would not suspect that the ports would change with a newer version but if there is a setting in a newer version that can force the ports I would upgrade if needed.

Thanks for your advice.

David.
