Im having little difficulties getting the right config, in order to make my modem work ok with hylafax.

Invoking faxstat, i get thoses messages :

Here is some debug info obtained when calling up the modem, initializing it, and dialing on my cell.

[root@fax sendq]# cu -l /dev/ttyS0

Im using the default config, which i copied/pasted here ... default one for now ([spooldir]/config/rockwell-rc), included in this mail below.

Note I just want to setup a mail to fax gateway, i do not care about answering calls.

Any pointers appreciated.

# This configuration file sets up the modem to run at 38.4 with

Subject: [hylafax-users] List protocol question

Would it be considered inappropriate in this list to ask for a comparison of the stronger points of a commercial fax system like Lightning Fax compared to Hylafax?  In other words, would the experts on this list welcome or be willing to expound on their comparative knowledge of another system compared to Hylafax?

Thanks
