Alright,

 

Sending a fax (pdf) works (using webfax front-end), but when the recipient receives the file, the text is not of high quality.

 

Converting to gif and sending only makes the text less readable.

 

 

The pdf file is created from a ‘Corel Draw’ file.

 

Printing the pdf to a local printer produces a good quality result.
