Re: [hylafax-users] Incoming Faxes not autoprinting

Suddenly a few days ago, no more autoprinting.
So, the obvious question: Did you change anything? Any upgrade to the
printing software maybe?
In reviewing the following log entries that a recently received fax,
does it appear to anyone that the autoprinting should be working as
expected?
This log isn't of much use here, it covers the actual transmission, but
not much more. It does show that faxrcvd gets called, but I think
HylaFAX simply discards any (error) output from faxrcvd.
What else should I consider in getting this to work?
Can you view the TIFF files? If they are corrupt for any reason (bad
libtiff version?), printing won't work, obviously.
Do you get anything in syslog? From the printing software maybe?
What happens when you run the line from faxrcvd manually?
You could also change this line in faxrcvd to something like
( /usr/bin/tiff2ps -a $FILE | lpr ) 2>&1 | logger
so that any error messages from tiff2ps and lpr go to syslog.
