Re: [hylafax-users] external v.92 us robotics model 5601

Dear Lee.

Verified the ghostscript install... good.

Documents are placed into /var/spool/fax/docq and are named doc20.ps.20 (I attached one) When I right-click the document, it says postscript.

Permissions are: user uucp read write, group 60002 read, meta information created by hylafax TextfmtClass. (or else if sent via winbox = pscript5.dll. same permissions)

The extent of my knowledge has been reached... Relying on yours. I clearly am where I had never been before. It is meant as a compliment (french is my birth langage, so excuse me if it got out wrong)

Regards

Duke

Ok Lee.

Thanks for helping out.

You will find a paste below of a filtered section of /var/log/messages

The only things logged are hylafax server stop, start, faxgetty ttyS0, then the send job.

I can detect (? if I may) a document conversion problem. but the resulting .ps, when double clicked, is just fine...

The documents aren't converted to PostScript, they're converted to TIFF.

Any ideas?

mar 4 01:06:13 serveurfax FaxQueuer[2386]: Bad exit status 077000 for 'bin/notify "doneq/q19" "no_formatter" ""'

I'm guessing that you don't have Ghostscript installed or configured correctly.

Lee.
