[hylafax-users] Fax Failure Tracing

I have two functioing HylaFAX servers running. I used these two systems to test my setups. One is in my residence, the other at the office. All works well.... but!

Suddenly I can no longer get the home machine to connect to the office machine. However, there is another fax machine at the office which answers and accepts my faxes just fine. The suspect HylaFAX server at the office is sending and receiving faxes just fine. Even the junk faxes are coming in. Everything seems to work fine, except these two machine will no longer connect to each other.

But they used to.  I'm sooooo confused!

When my home HylaFAX server makes the call to the office HylaFAX server,  the modems handshake and then abruptly hang up. I then place the same fax job to another fax machine at the same office and viola, it works fine. Where would one begin to trace the problem?

Lee,

Here is the log you requested. I believe this is what you want. The
image is only cropped by about 1/2" as you suggested. Is there anywhere
where I can examine the T.30 spec? I'll need this ammo to back up my
findings.

Re the Debian issue, I'd prefer not to have to package it myself. So, I
guess this is a call to anyone that has encountered the same issue. The
CVS version sounds like exactly what I need, anyone have it packaged?
