Here is a log on my system
Dec 10 10:28:50 server FaxGetty[5767]: RECV FAX: bin/faxrcvd
"recvq/fax00419.tif" "ttyS2" "00021862" "" "" ""
it seems you have played with absolute paths (/var/spool/...) in config
files which expect paths relative to /var/spool/hylafax.
