[hylafax-users] No response to sendfax?

Hi!

I'm try to get the following to work:

hylafax 4.1.8 under Linux 2.4.18 RedHat 8.0, gcc 3.2, libtiff-3.5.7-7.

After what seemed to be a successful configure and install, I tried
sending some faxes with:

sendfax -f "dng@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" -R -r "faxsubject" -c "coverpage
comments" -x "Recipient's company" -d "Recipient@1234567"
/home/dng/test.ps

The result is:
request id is 1 (group id 1) for host localhost (1 file)

And in /var/log/messages:
Dec 10 15:39:35 cube FaxQueuer[1040]: SUBMIT JOB 1

According to the 'howto' site, the fax should be sent immediately -so
why is it queued?

When I repeat the above command, I get the same result, and the log file
just gets added to:
Dec 10 15:42:00 cube FaxQueuer[1040]: SUBMIT JOB 2

I have gone through the checks in the mailing list thread
'[hylafax-users] faxsend not being called by faxq' by Thomas Kempf and
Holger Raschke (Jul 2003), but these have not helped.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated. This is my first install.
