Re: [hylafax-users] modem (or faxgetty?) hangs "receiving from ..."
Any chance of getting an strace on it? At least at the "hung" poing?
Have you seen:

This is fixed in cvs HEAD.
4.1.9 (when it comes) will have it.
Can you try CVS head (or apply that patch to 4.1.8)?
