[hylafax-users] Problem using hylafax & capi4hylafax

Hello list,

several days ago I finished my tests on SuSE 9.0 and moved from 7.3 to 9.0
But yesterday I run into a problem, and I have no real idea where the
problem is:
- I can receive faxes without any problem
- I can send faxes directly using eg.: c2faxsend -f TIFF -d faxnumber
file.tif
- I can't send any fax using an client like Cypheus (Version 3.02.4240)
This is what /var/log/messages shows:
        [ ... ]
        Dec 3 16:19:27 suse9 HylaFAX[12242]: Filesystem has SysV-style file
creation semantics.
        Dec 3 16:19:27 suse9 FaxQueuer[1335]: SUBMIT JOB 6
        Dec 3 16:19:27 suse9 FaxSend[12264]: Syntax error at line 167,
missing ':' in "{"
        Dec 3 16:19:27 suse9 FaxSend[12264]: Syntax error at line 307,
missing ':' in " {"
        Dec 3 16:19:27 suse9 FaxSend[12264]: Syntax error at line 412,
missing ':' in " }"
        Dec 3 16:19:27 suse9 FaxSend[12264]: Syntax error at line 413,
missing ':' in "}"
        Dec 3 16:19:36 suse9 FaxSend[12264]: /dev/faxCAPI: Can not
initialize modem.
        Dec 3 16:20:49 suse9 FaxQueuer[1335]: KILL JOB 6
        Dec 3 16:20:49 suse9 FaxSend[12264]: CAUGHT SIGNAL 15
        Dec 3 16:20:49 suse9 FaxQueuer[1335]: NOTIFY: bin/notify "doneq/q6"
"killed" ""
        [ ... ]
There's no info within /var/log/capifax.log (but LogTraceLevel in
/var/spool/fax/etc/config.faxCAPI is set to 4).

Is there anybody who has an idea?

Thanks in advance!!!!
Torsten
