[hylafax-users] FaxDispatch issues - SMTP AUTH??

Hi folks,

I installed Hylafax 4.1.5 a while back and it sat unused for a number of
months. Since then, I firedit up when our Fax machine's printer died,
and it has been working wonderfully ever since.

Last night I upgraded to 4.1.7 and installed metamail and sharutils at
the same time. AFAIK, everything I need to make this thing work the way
I want is in place.

1.) Currently, all faxes are printed to a LaserJet via FaxDispatch.
2.) All routine messages are sent to faxmaster successfully.
3.) our SMTP server uses SMTP AUTH, but should allow mails sent from the
local host to go through just fine.
4.) The FaxDispatch also has lines to send mail to faxmaster in PDF
format, but this never happens.

What is wrong here? Why do I get the "Hylafax Usage Report", but not the
e-mailed incoming faxes? My FaxDispatch follows:

##      $Id: FaxDispatch,v 1.2 2003/05/04 23:49:41 darren Exp $
##
## Default FaxDispatch file - routes all inbound faxes to FaxMaster as
PDF
##
## Consult the faxrcvd(8C) man page for more information
##

# Added by trymes 11-13-03 after upgrade to 4.1.7
# Faxes printed to printer. Change "lj_2300l" to match printer name.
/usr/bin/tiff2ps -a $FILE | lp -d lj_2300l;

SENDTO=FaxMaster; # by default email to
FaxMaster
FILETYPE=pdf;                                   # in PDF format

Please let me know what is going on here, b/c I can't seem to get the
e-mails, no matter what. I thought it might be b/c of the SMTP AUTH, but
I get the usage reports just fine, so I assume that isn't it....

Thank you!

Tom Rymes
