You must be looking at an old list archive, because the newer posts
(going back quite a while) have the email addresses XXXXXX'd out. So it
looks like your fears of more spam are unfounded.
On a related note, I'm still trying to figure out how to reconcile spam
and communication. It seems a little silly to have to hide your email
address, considering the whole point with email is that you want people
to contact you...
I find that a good strict mail server config screens out over 90% of the
spam that comes my way (ie, require valid hostnames, require correct
SMTP ELHO, require strict RFC-based envelope checking, etc). After the
first screening above, you hardly need any filters at all...
