Re: [hylafax-users] Bad exit status

This is what I get when I apply the patch....

faxQCleanApp.o: In function `faxQCleanApp::archiveJob(FaxRequest const&)':
/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/hylafax-4.1.7/faxd/../util/Str.h:99: undefined reference to `faxApp::runCmd(char const*, bool)'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[1]: *** [faxqclean] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/redhat/BUILD/hylafax-4.1.7/faxd'
make: *** [default] Error 2

The problem isn't s much the bad exit status, as the time that notify is

See:

The attached patch works. I don't think it's made it into CVS yet.

The problem is that faxq is blocking for the notify to finish. In the 6
seconds it's been blocked, the FIFO it process fills up and gives the
"Bad FIFO cmd" when it reads a 1/2 message, but that also means that it
tries to process a "half" message too.

If you bump your faxq logging up a lot more, you'll see that faxq is
getting messed up before bombing out.

Fixing your mail issue (whatever is causing notify to take 6 seconds to
run) will "fix" your issue, but doesn't fix the root of the problem.
That's taken care of by the patch in bugzilla.
