Re: [hylafax-users] Cannot Receive The FAX

Dear Friends

THANKS For all the friends who had helped

I did configure HylaFAX , the problem
was with the syntax of the file "faxgetty" we add in
the inittab .
I checked the log "messages" and
found out that the service had problem, re-did from
the scratch, it worked, now I am able to send the fax
and receive it, in command mode
I have to work on graphical interface
of sending and receiving the fax which I plan I can
finish it in this week end , can any one guide me with
this , I need feed back from friends who is using a
graphical interface
When I finish it working I will be
giving a presentation on it for the new DubaiLug
meeting, which we plan to have soon
                                   Thanks
                                        Joseph John

Is faxgetty running?

Did you set "RingsBeforeAnswer" in your modem config file to a value
greater than 0?

For further information read the "Setup"-guide.
