(apologies, but if you decide to grace us with your name, I'll know how to
address you in the future ';-) )

Please repeat your tests without RTFCC or V.34 enabled by changing your
config file to read:

Class2RTFCC:            no   # my modem reports non-zero data to this but
I'm too scared to use it
ModemDialCmd:           AT+FCC=,5,,,,,,,0;DT%s

and restarting faxgetty, and let us know how you fare.

I'm not aware of any 10-page limitation of the Multitechs ... we once had a
customer whose PBX would limit call duration to 6 minutes though, which was
a bugger to track down because long faxes always died horribly, but at
different pages counts depending upon the types of pages being sent (how
much data on them, home compressible etc) and the negotiated session
parameters for that particular call.
