The problem is reproducible but ONLY from this particular sender.
I receive about 200 Faxes per day on this line, all others are received 
correctly.

Will changing the ModemClass Parameter to 1 be sufficient, to put the modem to 
Class 1 for receiving or do I have to care about something else.

I hope, changing to Class 1 will not cause any other problems.
