You have to use a modem that can capture that DTMF.  The MultiTech 
MT1932ZDX could, and you'd follow the pattern discussed on

http://bugs.hylafax.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=374

New MultiTechs don't appear to support the ">" command, but if you can 
get the DTMF to run down a separate line from the dial-tone (or even 
just splitting the line) then you could use the MT5634ZBA-DID and hook 
the DTMF line up to the DID port, and configure the modem and HylaFAX 
appropriately.
