thank u bernhard for ur suggestions.
kdeprrintfax works well.
but still there is one problem

when i type in a file(the current file)which is still not saved in 
openoffice, i am able to send faxes.
but if i attach a previously saved file(.sxw)in kdeprintfax using 
the option addfile then i am getting the error as follows

Mime type: application/vnd.sun.xml.writer
application/vnd.sun.xml.writer:file type not handled

is there any problem in mime type support?

i am unable to find out the cause of the above error.
