That's doubtful. I think this details the problem:

Given that it occurs here:
> Jul 14 18:40:29.85: [ 7673]: SEND wait for XON
> Jul 14 18:40:29.85: [ 7673]: --> [1:]
> Jul 14 18:40:29.85: [ 7673]: SEND begin page
It probably has to do with the TIFF that faxq creates. You may want to
examine that file.
The "blank" page is occurring because apparently no data gets sent and
the fax machine simply spits out a page in response.
