[hylafax-users] "Error Creating File"
Hello all,
Thanks to all for the previous help with the Conexant HCF modem problems - I
replaced the linmodem with an external modem, and all works well now
(mostly). Sending faxes using sendfax works well, but we are having
difficulties sending faxes from remote clients.
Specifically, when sending messages from the Cypheus client, we get an
"Error Creating File" message. the file appears in HylaFAX's docq/
directory, but with a file size of 0.
[root@localhost docq]# ls -la

[root@localhost docq]#
Document 10 is the one I am specifically making reference to. The
permissions are odd because I tried setting chmod 777 on the docq folder,
and all that was inside of it before sending #10. It seems that the text
documents sent via sendfax worked file, but the tiff files being sent by
Cypheus aren't getting sent. I realize that this is not the Cypheus mailing
list, but I have a strong feeling that the fault is with my HylaFAX
configuration, not my Cypheus configuration.
We are using Redhat 9.0 with the latest HylaFAX release. The user has been
properly added with faxadduser.
Thanks for your time and thought,
Edward Aronyk
