I think your right.  I just did a fax to a real fax machine and it came out
fine.  perhaps that's normal for hylafax faxing to not send an entire A4
page, but just the part with something on it?  

the problem seems to be when hylafax converts it back to PDF as specified in
my FaxDispatch file.   hmm.  i wonder where the script is that creates the
.pdf file from a fax.   and if it's originally stored as a tiff and then
converts to pdf it's the tiff -> pdf routine that is a little confused?

I'm using the LaserWriter 16/600 PS too and not having one single trouble...

mmm... your problem seems more about page size/border size than about the 
driver.

Have tried changing the settings for the hylafax printer to use a slightly 
longer/shorter page? Does it have any effect?
