Well, machines can make mistakes. But I propose, if your outside line
(e.g. via France Telecom) is a ISDN line, that you check the
configuration of your phone-system.

IMHO As far as I can remember, it schould be possible to set up a delay
time after the end of a call and the next reaction on a incoming call.
But actually I don't know whether this is a hylafax or a modem
configuration.
