[hylafax-users] multitech ISIModem card - 45 sec delay on Initializing server
I am using the
standard lucent-mt-2 config with an ISIHI-2S modem ISA card.
The problem is a 40+ second delay between sending faxes at the initializing
server stage and in fact the whole cycle from 1 fax to the next seems 'sticky'
and slow. I also have 2 ext. ZDX modems on standard serial ports on a diferent
machine which get through faxes almost twice as fast and only stay at the
initialising server stage for 2 or 3 seconds.
I am running
faxgetty on each device but not on the server with ext. modems- could this be
slowing things down?
