[hylafax-users] fax / data recognition
hello all
My hylafax server is working very well. However, i need another function as i can dial-in to this server and have a command prompt(like a mgetty behaviour), i.e. data in. I try to setup this following Server Setup and Basic Configuration - Setup the modem for inbound use [optional] - Data Service. My Configuration file as
GettyArgs: "%l -D"
LocalIdentifier: "ef103A Testing 3"
TagLineFont: etc/lutRS18.pcf
#
# Modem-related stuff: should reflect modem command interface
# and hardware connection/cabling (e.g. flow control).
#
ModemType: Class1 # use this to supply a hint
ModemRate: 19200 # rate for DCE-DTE communication
ModemFlowControl: rtscts # default
#
ModemNoFlowCmd: AT&K0 # setup no flow control
ModemHardFlowCmd: AT&K3 # setup hardware flow control
ModemSoftFlowCmd: AT&K4 # setup software flow control
ModemSetupDTRCmd: AT&D2 # setup so DTR drop resets modem
ModemSetupDCDCmd: AT&C1 # setup so DCD reflects carrier (or not)
#
ModemMfrQueryCmd: !Rockwell
ModemModelQueryCmd: !RC288DPi
ModemRevQueryCmd: ATI3 # product information
#
ModemDialCmd: ATDT%s # T for tone dialing
#
# inbound for fax and data
#
AdaptiveAnswer: yes # enable adaptive answer
AnswerRotary: "fax data" # answer for fax, then data
ModemAnswerCmd: AT+FCLASS=1;A # default is to answer as fax
#ModemAnswerFaxCmd:
#ModemAnswerDataCmd: ATH+FCLASS=0;A # hangup and answer as data
Class1RecvIdentTimer: 10000 # timeout fax answer in 10 secs
i am running in Linux Redhat 8, hylafax as hylafax-4.1.5-1rh8 and my modem as Practical Comminucation 56K Surfer Serise, but is modem dependent?
thanks
yan
