Well, hylafax don't have OCR software embeded, altough
you can use third-party software with it. But even
with comercial software you will face problems to
deliver the fax. During a transmission, "noises" and
interference are comun, in result you will have dark
zones in the document. You can imagine how this is
problematic to OCR software. One of GPL OCR software
that I know of is Clara OCR, http://www.claraocr.org/
So, if you want delivery to a certain user, you must
consider different approachs, IMHO.
