If you are able to see the fax in outbox folder, Cypheus is working.
Logs are available at Cypheus after HylaFAX has send the fax.
You might look at <Path to HylaFAX>/sendq/qXXX file to verify, that
job values are ok.
/var/log/messages might contain any hints what's going wrong.
