Yes, I remember having exactly the same problem.

You need to create two symbolic links in the directory
/var/spool/hylafax/bin: pdf2fax and ps2fax. I am using ghostscript to
convert the files, so in my case it looks like this:

$ pwd
/var/spool/hylafax/bin
$ ls -l
total 65
