[hylafax-users] Hylafax and Zyxel Omni 56k cd...

Perhaps someone of you has a proper working Zyxel Omni 56k especially under
Woody3.0 and Hylafax 4.1.5 compiled? Thank you for every help.

Hi all. I`ve got another problem with my Omni 56k.The modem is initializing
itself too long. It means that after every process of fax receiving, while
it`s finished, the modem need a time at about 20-30 seconds to reinitialize
and become to be ready to answer next coming fax. BUT the most interesting
thing is if I try to call the modem during initializing process then the
modem doesn`t answer any call. I have to wait at about that 20-30 sec and
let it to be ready. I`ve bought this kind of Zyxel thinking that it`s
HARDWARE MODEM for 100% and newer version of OMNI288s, now I could say that
it`s not true :-(. 

When I conect to server just the OMNI 288s, every problem disappear :-), it
means that I don`t have to wait for initializing modem proces and the modem
is ready to receive next fax after previous one in 1 second :-)

Perhaps I have to set something up in config files? Could you help me? Or
perhaps anyone of you could sell me working properly another OMNI288s (I
can interchange the Omni 56k for OMNI288s even). I`m waiting fo replies.
