I don't think the hylafax documentation really explains this well.
in your config file put this line.
ModemGroup: any:ttyS[0-1]
This, oddly enough, will restrict outgoing modem use to these two modems
For incoming, make sure that people sending you faxes only use the numbers
for the incoming. Also in the config file you could for S0 and S1 change
your RingsBeforeAnswer to-.
RingsBeforeAnswer: 0
This way if a call does come in on these lines, the modem will not answer.
I believe this is the cleanest way to do this configuration.
Changeing the modem state is not a good way to make permanent configuration,
but might be usefull for temporarilly disabling modems.
