Well, usually I advice last release(7.3) or
previous(<7.3) cause you have latest fixes and
corrections. 8.0 is ok but you could face with some
change from Red Hat that are not expected. 


P.S. : for stability question here is my story:
yesterday I "loose" my 240+ days uptime. Even the UPS
couldn't help :-)). 300+ outgoing pages per day and
2000 pages incomming per day.
