[hylafax-users] a simple way to reproduce formfeed problem. How to fix ?

Hi all,

It's me again. The followings are the simple steps to reproduce my problem
with formfeed.

1. I use vi to create a file test.txt  with 60 empty lines ( just pressing
Enter 60 times ).

2. At line 57, add Control-L, then save this file

3. Create the output postscript psfile from test.txt
# /usr/sbin/textfmt -B -f Courier-Bold -Ml=0.4 -p 11 -s default > psfile <
test.txt

( the parameters -B -f -Ml -p -s here are what Hylafax calls textfmt with ).

4. Go to X, and run
# gs psfile
It will display the first blank page. Press Enter it will display the 2nd
balank page, press Enter it will output the error as I paste below.

If I change control-L to some other line, or if I change the -p 11 to some
other value, I won't get this error. But in the common case, the fax I need
to send may produce ^L at any line therefore I can not simple just change -p
value.

I need to make this Hylafax run, and get stuck here. I appreciate any of
your advice.
