I agree that Debian is the best distribution to use for a server, but I have
found the Hylafax packages in Debian to have issues.  I still use Debian for
Hylafax because I think that the benefits out weigh the issues, but it seems
that everytime the Hylafax package gets updated, it breaks.  Usually, this
is because the config files are changed to fit the Debian standard for where
files need to go, and the standard locations for the files are symbolicly
linked to the Debian locations (ex. /var/spool/fax may link to
/etc/hylafax).  I have found that Hylafax does not like this, and I usually
have to move the files around manually to make it work. Usually, I may do
something like move the files to /var/spool/fax and make /etc/hylafax the
link (which is the opposite of the way it starts out).  Just something to be
aware of if you are going to use Debian.
